Love Island's Paige Thorne hits back at ex Adam Collard saying romance was 'game plan'

Love Island’s Paige Thorne, who appeared on last summer's series of the hit ITV show, has taken a swipe at her ex-boyfriend Adam Collard after he called their relationship a “game plan”.

Adam, who is the only person so far to step foot in the villa as an islander on two separate occasions, seemingly found a connection with paramedic Paige, 25.

After getting to know each other and building a connection, the pair made it to the final week of the show together. However, last month, the personal trainer confessed that he went on to boost his career and was willing to do anything it took to go far in the show.

In an interview with MailOnline, the 27 year old said he would "choose the right person" to stay on the programme longer. Adam said: "The thing with Love Island is I'm the only one who is willing to admit it, I would completely choose the right person to stay on the show. "That's why I got back on the show in my eyes, they realised I didn't care about anything." Paige indirectly responded to Adam’s comments in an Instagram Q&A where she was asked: “Does it hurt that Adam is saying it was his game plan all along to couple up with you?” The Welsh beauty hit back at her ex and expressed that some people are better at being “game players”.The former star said: “Only things that hold value in your life can hurt you.
