One snap saw Nicola and Harper showing off their matching tattoos, each having had a small butterfly inked onto their bodies.
Captioning the photos, Nicola wrote: "Happy birthday to my baby sis Harper 7 [heart emoji] you are the most amazing girl I am so lucky to have you in my life [heart emoji] I love you more than you even know! (Can we always match forever??)" And while the sentiment behind the post was sweet, some fans were rather critical of the youngster showing off her tattoo - which was more than likely a temporary transfer.
One wrote: "Surely a 12 year does not have a real tattoo." While another added: "Harper has a tatt????" Others were quick to defend the actress, pointing out that the tattoo was fake, with one writing: "Have people really never heard of stick on tattoos??
