Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has admitted he is surprised the takeover of the club was not completed before the end of the season.
Back in November, the Glazers announced they were open to further investment in the Reds including potentially selling United.
This led to a bidding process which saw two main contenders emerge, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani. Three bidding rounds have since followed but it seems United are no closer to being sold nor are they close to announcing a preferred bidder.
Speaking to MEN Sport, Saha claimed the uncertainty could affect Erik ten Hag's summer business if not resolved soon. "The uncertainty of the Manchester United takeover is not great for Erik ten Hag's transfer window plans," he explained. "Surely they're in talks with potential new signings, and those new players need to be confident in the club's project.
