A drone user was shocked to capture what he thinks may be an image of the Loch Ness Monster. The video appears to show a large creature in the water of the famous loch - with drone pilot Richard Mavor who was wild camping on at the time - astounded when others pointed out the eerie shape.
The 54-year-old filmed what may be the monster "accidentally" while out capturing footage for his YouTube channel, with the video for part of the great glen canoe challenge for Alzheimer's Society in August 2021.
But Richard told the Record he didn't even see "Nessie" until others who looked at the footage noticed the strange, large shape underwater.
He said: “I couldn’t believe it. I had to rewind the footage several times and have watched it several times since.“I don’t know what it is but it certainly has the same shape as previous sightings of Nessie.
