Liverpool's goalkeeper Alisson Becker has suffered a big injury setback as his hamstring problem continues. The Brazil international won't be able to play in Saturday's Premier League match against Brentford after suffering the injury during training in the build-up to the match As reported by the Liverpool Echo, Alisson is staying in Merseyside for more checks on his injury, and reserve goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is ready to step in for him for this weekend's Premier League game.
It is a worrying blow for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as the race for the Premier League title with Man City and Arsenal hots up.
In the last two weeks, Dominik Szoboszlai and Thiago Alcantara have also had hamstring injuries. Liverpool are currently at the top of the Premier League table but they are just two points ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal in second and third respectively.
