The frontman has been without a club since a short spell at Australian side Mandurah City, but will get his boots back on for one game at Hibs' Easter Road next month.
The 32-year-old will get the chance to play in Leith during charity fundraiser 'The Match', which will feature a Sauzée Select XI taking on a Hanlon Stevenson Foundation (HSF) side in a bid to raise money for the foundation.Griffiths appeared a 261 times for Celtic in all competitions over eight seasons, netting 123 goals for the Parkhead club.
He made 78 appearances for Hibs while on loan from Wolves and with spells at Livingston and Dundee as well as a short stint at Falkirk, the striker may be looking to tick another Scottish club off the list.
He currently training with Premiership side Livingston alongside Dylan McGeouch as the pair continue their hunt for a new home.
