Lanarkshire youngsters praised for eco-friendly COP26 initiative

Lanarkshire youngsters who did their bit to help the planet with an eco-friendly initiative have been praised for their efforts.

As previously featured on Lanarkshire Live, pupils across Cambuslang’s nine primary and two high schools worked hard to clear the areas around their schools in preparation for COP26, as part of a 26 Bags for 26 Days campaign.

The campaign set each school a goal of collecting 26 bags of rubbish over 26 days, coinciding with the global summit.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
