One town in Greater Manchester is experiencing a boom in house sales, with homes selling quicker than ever. Sale in the centre of Trafford has become one of the region's hotspot areas in recent years, and was also voted one of the top five best places to live in England.

Estate agent Purplebricks has revealed that houses in Sale are flying off the market - with most properties being sold in 24 hours or less.

Purplebricks area director Gareth Yates believes that it is the Trafford suburb's versatility and its food and drink offering that is causing a spike in its popularity. “The schools have always been the pull of Sale however there is more and more money coming into Sale with Stanley Square being the most obvious choice," Gareth Yates said.
