Road policing officers in Lanarkshire are appealing for information after a crash involving a motorcycle on the A71. The incident involving a Kawasaki ER500 happened around 1pm on Tuesday, September 12, on the A71 near Drumclog on the outskirts of Strathaven.

The 55-year-old male rider was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment of serious injuries.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
