Lanarkshire mum discovers tot has rare cancer - as she changed his nappy

A Lanarkshire tot was found to have a rare form of cancer - after his mum discovered a lump while changing his nappy.Nicole Kerr-Lidell was in the middle of changing then four-week-old Jura when she spotted the unusual lump.

The worried mum, who lives in Rutherglen, rushed the youngster to the Royal Hospital for Children to be checked over - and doctors initially believed the spot to be a noncancerous, benign tumour.

Speaking to Glasgow Live, Nicole, 31, explained: "After being seen by several doctors, we were seen by a surgeon, who thought it was most likely a benign polyp and it was removed within a few days of our first trip to the hospital. "About three weeks later we had a call from the doctor asking if we could come in which was a bit odd.
