Lanarkshire commuters told to check plans as ScotRail introduce temporary timetable

Lanarkshire commuters have been warned to check their journey plans after ScotRail revealed it will introduce a temporary timetable to provide greater certainty and reliability for customers.

Over the past number of weeks, the train operator has been in pay discussions with the rail trade unions, ASLEF, RMT, TSSA, and Unite.A formal pay offer in line with the Scottish Government’s public sector pay policy was made on Friday, July 5, however, this was rejected by all four trade unions.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
