Lanarkshire chef was on the brink of death after losing both his legs to sepsis caused by stubbing his toe at home. Loved ones of Billy Lawson were told he "wouldn't make it" after the infection spread through his limbs in hospital.The 57-year-old's toe turned black when he stubbed it and doctors told him on Christmas Eve last year that it would have to be amputated in two weeks.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
