Kourtney Kardashian has dramatically opened up on The Kardashians about having surgery to save the life of her then unborn baby - and has revealed exactly what happened.

In the most recent episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, which was filmed last year, Kourtney was getting ready to give birth to her son.

Speaking to the camera, Kourtney explained: “A couple months ago, we had a terrifying scare where I had to have emergency fetal surgery.” The scene then cuts to Kourney star recovering from the surgery.

Kourtney said: “Baby Rocky had to have fetal surgery for fluid in his lung. And it's super rare, that this [is] the condition that he had but it's also super rare and lucky that we caught it. “And thank you, God, for this successful surgery.
