Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress.
Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. She is an outspoken feminist and has addressed issues of gender inequality, and her lifestyle website The Tig featured a column profiling influential women. She represented international charity organizations and received recognition for her fashion and style, releasing a line of clothing in 2016.

dailyrecord.co.ukKilmarnock estate.Clowes Developments Scotland want to erect 73 homes on the site of the former BMK carpet factory on Barbadoes Road.The new properties would offer two, three or four bedrooms, according to drawings if given the go-ahead.The Kilmarnock Standard reported last month that the proposals would see new homes built on a flood plain next to an eyesore gas tank.Plans lodged with East Ayrshire Council include 146 car parking spaces, access roads, open space and drainage.A number of homes have already been built as part of phase 1 of the development.Three residents have raised objections to the plan to build on the brownfield land.James McKie said the phase 1 building generated noise and dust with portable cabins and a toilet block.
