ok.co.ukDespite not being expected to appear back in public until after Easter, the Princess of Wales has been at the centre of a bizarre social media conspiracy theory as she continues to recover from abdominal surgery.
A spokesperson for the Princess said: "We were very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant." The latest concern for Kate's health comes after the Prince of Wales made a last-minute decision not to attend a thanksgiving service for his godfather, the late King Constantine of Greece in Windsor on Tuesday.The Palace would only cite the reason as a "personal matter" while Kate was said to be "doing well" amid her recovery from abdominal surgery in January.
The Princess of Wales underwent abdominal surgery at the London Clinic last month and spent two weeks recuperating there before heading back home to continue her recovery at the family's Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor.
Prince William temporarily stepped back from royal duties to care for his wife and their three children, Prince George, ten, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five.
