Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter, actress, author and television personality. She rose to fame in 2002, after winning the first season of American Idol, which earned her a record deal with RCA Records. Clarkson's debut single, "A Moment Like This", topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and became the country's best-selling single of 2002. It was followed by the release of her debut studio album, Thankful (2003), which debuted atop the US Billboard 200. Trying to reinvent her image, Clarkson parted ways with Idol management and shifted to pop rock music for her second album, Breakaway (2004). After numerous top 40 radio number-one singles, such as "Since U Been Gone" and "Because of You", the album sold over 12 million copies worldwide and earned Clarkson two Grammy Awards.

Kelly Clarkson Tells Fans to Only 'Throw Diamonds' At Her During Las Vegas Residency Show

Kelly Clarkson has a special request for her fans. During a concert at her Las Vegas residency, the 41-year-old performer seemingly referenced the recent uptick in audience members throwing things at artists during their shows. Keep reading to find out what she told the audience… “Whatever you do, don’t throw it at me, people,” Kelly said as she addressed the crowd.

She then jokingly added, “If you’re gonna throw s**t, throw diamonds.” Her comments come after several incidents that involved performers having things thrown at them on stage. Bebe Rexha recently suffered a black eye after being hit in the face with a cell phone, while Pink received a bag of their mother’s ashes during one of her concerts.

A few days ago, Cardi B threw her microphone at a fan who tossed a cup of water in her face. We recently revealed which songs were on Kelly‘s setlist for her Chemistry residency.
