Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.

Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge arrived in the world on July 22, 2013, at St Mary's Hospital in London, being third in line to the throne, after his dad, Prince William and grandad King Charles.Every element of the little prince's name tips its hat to previous members of the Royal family. "George" is a direct nod to his great-great-grandfather, King George VI (the Queen's father).
His first middle name, Alexander, honours the Queen, who is Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, reports the Mirror. Interestingly, it's said that Alexandra was high on Kate's list of fave names if she ever had a daughter although once their little girl was born, they called her Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
The last part of George's name, Louis, is shared with his dad, Prince William, whose full name is William Arthur Philip Louis.
