Kate Middleton is quietly getting back to work on a childcare project that is close to her heart. It's understood that the Princess of Wales has been working from home on her early years project, which aims to better the lives of babies. After undergoing abdominal surgery at the London Clinic, 42-year-old Kate is slowly returning to normal life.
The clinic is currently investigating three staff members following allegations of a breach in the royal's security this week. However, the future queen is gradually resuming her duties, and a report about her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood is set to be published today.
The centre funded a trial for a baby observation tool, which health visitors will use to better identify signs of social and emotional development in young children.Kensington Palace confirmed that Kate has been kept informed about her campaign and the "overwhelmingly positive" results of a study she inspired.
A Kensington Palace spokesperson reportedly said: "The Princess has been kept updated throughout the process." The princess suggested that the tool could be used in Britain after seeing a similar system during a royal visit to Denmark, making her particularly invested in the four-month trial, reports the Mirror.
