Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981), occasionally known by his initials JT, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer.
Raised in Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.
Timberlake began to adopt a more mature image as an artist with the release of his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which yielded the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.

In an interview with Page Six, director Chris Applebaum has recounted the horrific break-up story, as he claims he found Britney in a sorry state, reportedly "sitting on the floor with her legs crossed, her makeup smudged, and in tears".
He claims she held up her Motorola flip phone, tearfully showing him a text from Justin Timberlake that simply read: "It's over!!!" Chris says that he advised Britney to return to work, telling her: "If you don’t have it in you, I totally understand … but if you want to go out there and finish this last set-up in the rain, you can show him that he just made the biggest f—ing mistake of his life.” Britney then returned to shoot the music video for Overprotected (Darkchild Remix), which was one of her biggest hits.The pop star has made many revelations in her in her new tell-all memoir, The Woman In Me, including things about her relationship with former NSYNC star Justin.
