Johnny Depp stepped out to support his film, Modi, Three Days On The Wings Of Madness, during the San Sebastian International Film Festival, where he seemed to reference his highly-publicized Amber Heard trial.
On Tuesday (September 24), the 61-year-old actor – who directed Modi – Three Days on the Wings of Madness – attended the photo call for the film alongside cast members Luisa Raineri, Bruno Gouery, Riccardo Scarmarcio, Antonia Desplat and Ryan McParland in San Sebastian, Spain.
During a press conference afterwards, he spoke about the life of the subject of the film, real life artist Amedeo Modigliani.
He died a young death at 35 from tubercular meningitis, which was said to be exacerbated by drug and alcohol abuse. When asked about the artist’s life, Johnny gave an answer that seemed to reference his ex wife. “Each [character] has their story because I’m sure we can say that I’ve been through number of things here and there…Maybe yours didn’t turn into a soap opera.
