Joe Biden‘s interview with NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt is still on, but will now be taking place at the White House on Monday, according to a network source.

The interview was to take place in Texas, but Biden’s trip there was canceled in wake of an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, the president’s rival in the 2024 presidential race.

NBC News announced the interview last week, with plans to air it in primetime on Monday night, which is also the first day of the Republican National Convention.

The network still plans that schedule, with excerpts on NBC Nightly News earlier in the evening. The interview was to be the latest one-on-one for Biden amid calls for him to drop out of the presidential race.
