Jimmy Fallon
James Thomas Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, actor, television host, writer, and producer. He is known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and before that Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He grew up with an interest in comedy and music, moving to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue opportunities in stand-up comedy. He was commissioned to join NBC's Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Fallon remained on SNL for six years between 1998 and 2004, co-hosting the program's Weekend Update segment and becoming a celebrity in the process. He left the program for the film industry, starring in films such as Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005).

He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC on January 26, 2003 at Hollywood Masonic Temple in Hollywood, California; and on April 1, 2019, at a secondary home, the Zappos Theater on the Las Vegas Strip. Kimmel hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 and 2016, and the Academy Awards in 2017 and 2018.

The “Strike Force Three” live event has struck out. The hotly anticipated show — which was announced last week by Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert — has been cancelled due to illness.

Kimmel took to X(Twitter) on Wednesday to reveal that he’s been diagnosed with COVID-19, and as a result, they would have to nix the fundraising event. “Well, Las Vegas, I got Covid, and sadly, we need to cancel this weekend’s Strike Force Three show,” Kimmel wrote. “I could never live with myself if I got my hometown friends sick.” The TV personality added, “Thanks to all who purchased tickets, everyone will get full refunds and we will try to reschedule if possible.” The show — which was set to feature three of the five late-night talk show hosts from the “Strike Force Five” podcast — was to be held at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas on Sept.
