James Cameron is addressing rumors and speculation that he is planning a movie about OceanGate’s Titan submersible tragedy.

Last month, it was announced that five passengers aboard the Titan submersible, which was headed for the real Titanic wreckage site in the Atlantic Ocean, have passed away after the vessel likely suffered a “catastrophic” implosion.

Since the tragedy made headlines, there have been rumors that the 68-year-old Titanic director is working on a movie about the what happened. James is now shutting down those “offensive” rumors. Keep reading to find out more… “I don’t respond to offensive rumors in the media usually, but I need to now.

I’m NOT in talks about an OceanGate film, nor will I ever be,” James tweeted on Saturday, July 15. The families of the 5 victims all released statements about the tragedy.

Selena Gomez Is Bringing Back Pinup-Girl Style in a Polka-Dot Halter Dress
is celebrating her boyfriend Benny Blanco’s new cookbook, Open Wide, in her April 30 Instagram post, but I, personally, am just here to celebrate the polka-dot minidress. It’s too early to tell if this marks a return of the pinup-girl style trend of the early 2010s but, you know, fingers crossed.Gomez posted three snapshots of herself celebrating Blanco’s achievement, complete with a picture of herself pretending to eat the book itself (unless, of course it’s really a cake). For the occasion Gomez wore a short black dress with a white polka-dot pattern, a vintage-style halter neck, and gold buttons down the front.
