The Abyss is getting the 4K treatment and it looks like it is heading into cinemas – certainly in the U.S.We know this as we have an official trailer for the film and a confirmed stateside release date: 6th December.

Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Michael Biehn, Leo Burmester, Todd Graff, John Bedford Lloyd, J.C. Quinn, and Kimberly Scott line-up among the impressive cast of the film.
