Kit's arrival on the ITV soap has seen him caught up in several plot lines that hint at a more manipulative side.
He notably pinned Lauren's disappearance on Nathan Curtis while actually supporting the real perpetrator, Joel Deering. While some viewers suspect Kit's involvement in Lauren's troubles mirrors Nathan Curtis's actions, others are wary of his budding "bromance" with PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith).
The friendship formed alongside Kit's assistance with DS Lisa Swain's (Vicky Myers) investigation into Lauren's situation. In one significant scene, Kit encouraged Craig to drink, leading to a conversation about bent coppers that almost saw Craig divulge details of his ex-girlfriend Faye Windasss involvement in an accidental death back in 2022, which he had a hand in covering up, reports the Mirror.
