In Friday's (22 March) episode, Cassie confessed all to her mother Evelyn Plummer in sad scenes. A specific comment she made left fans scratching their heads, as they wait to find out if there's more to the story.
Cassie told Evelyn she fell pregnant after sleeping with a man who had paid her for sex. Cassie admitted to doing sex work as a teenager, and told Evelyn that an older man she was in love with forced her to sleep with his pals for cash.
Evelyn was left horrified by her daughter's confession. She had no idea what had gone on with Cassie due to their fragile relationship during her teen years.
