A new Channel 4 show will take viewers inside the courtroom to give them a glimpse of how the British justice system works. The Jury: Murder Trial, which will air over four nights this week, shows a murder trial using actors in front of two randomly selected juries - neither of whom are aware of the other.
It will take a forensic look at the inner workings of justice and explore the secrecy that surrounds jury verdicts in the UK.
In the programme both juries are asked to judge on the case of a man who admits he killed his wife, but whose defence maintains that he lost control, and is therefore not guilty of murder.
Viewers will watch to see if both juries reach the same verdict and how they follow the complexities of the law around loss of control. Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
