On the night, Sarah Lancashire and her show Happy Valley triumphed with Best Actress and Best Drama awards, while long-standing hit Call The Midwife won Best Family Drama.Talented Helen Skelton was suitably glammed up in a black bustier and scarlet trousers to pick up the prize for Best Factual Show for her series On The Farm.

We made sure to chat with the stars on the red carpet as they arrived. Olivia Attwood, who looked stunning in an orange mini dress, was excited to be at her first event since joining the Loose Women panel, telling us she “hopes people have seen a different side” to her on the show.

Olivia paid tribute to her co-star Linda Robson, who exclusively spoke to OK! recently about her tumultuous breakdown and split from Mark Dunford, her husband of 33 years. “I love Linda,” Olivia said. “She’s been such a good friend to me and has really taken me under her wing.” Coronation Street star Maureen Lipman won the award for Best Soap Actress.
