Inside Outlander's Benjamin Grey and whether fans should expect to see him in season 8
dailyrecord.co.ukThe final season of Outlander has been in production since December, and whilst the actors will be fully getting into character, some fans may be wondering who will be introduced to the show this season.As season 8 will likely be based on Diana Gabaldon's novel Written in My Own Heart’s Blood, it would be fair to assume Benjamin Grey - who in the novel is Lord John Grey's nephew - will make an appearance.
In the novels - which are loved worldwide - Claire discovers Benjamin has died, which leads to a huge storyline for John, William and Hal.
With nothing confirmed, many are unsure which storyline will be based on Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, another novel in the Outlander book series, especially as there's so much going on and so much to be wrapped up.
As season 8 will only be 10 episodes long, fans are likely to see Claire and Jamie's story come to an end - with fans also expecting to focus on Bree, Roger, Young Ian, Rachel and William.
