Thousands of superfans descended on EK, East Kilbride at the weekend to catch a glimpse of their favourite superheroes and supervillains.

EK Comic Con was a huge success, with a host of iconic characters, including first EK appearances by The Hulk and Stay Puft man providing a real wow factor for visitors.Other show favourites included Spider-Man, Iron Man, Optimus Prime, Shrek and Sonic, while the Ghostbusters and Slimer made a welcome return, complete with the famous Ectomobile.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
