Crocked Ianis Hagi has hinted he is in the final stages of his recovery after almost a year on the sidelines for Rangers. The Romania international hasn't featured for Gio van Bronckhorst 's side since January when he picked up a nasty ACL injury during the Scottish Cup showdown with Stirling Albion, which required Hagi to go under the knife.

It's been a long road back for the 24-year-old but he now appears to be nearing a first-team return as he takes on extra sessions at the Rangers Training Centre while the Scottish Premiership is in cold storage.

While his Rangers ' teammates are on their winter break while the World Cup takes centre stage Hagi has been hard at work behind the scenes.

He shared snaps on his progress to his Instagram page as he looks to put himself back in the first-team picture ahead of the clash with Hibs on December 15 alongside the caption: "On a daily basis." Rangers are also set to face off against Bayer Leverkusen on December 10 in a friendly before the league action resumes.
