THE BBC is set to confirm the fate of its hit drama after just one series on air. SAS Rogue Heroes comes to an end tonight as the sixth episode of the critically-acclaimed drama aired.
And fans are hoping it will be back for a second series, it has been confirmed. The first series followed David Stirling (Connor Swindells), Jock Lewes (Alfie Allen) and Paddy Mayne (Jack O’Connell) in a dramatised account of how the SAS was formed in the darkest days of World War Two, with fellow cast members including Dominic West, Sofia Boutella, Tom Glynn-Carney and Theo Barklem-Biggs.
The first series has been available in full as a box set on BBC iPlayer since launch. BBC will announce if it will make an epic return or face the axe at 10.15pm tonight.
