A missing dog who escaped from a kennel in Scotland has finally been reunited with its owner after being lost for over two weeks.

It took volunteers 17 days to track down the missing pooch, who travelled miles across rivers and glens, using high tech drones and thermal cameras.

Carrie Kemp, from Perthshire, had just touched down in Ibiza when she received the dreaded call that her beloved German Shepherd had run off from it's boarding on Sunday, October 6.

The mum-of-three immediately booked a flight home as she left her family on holiday to join the panic-stricken search for the three-year-old pooch.
