"I love my job and I've no plans to retire": ASDA celebrate their eldest colleague

The customer service worker at the Trafford Park store celebrated his birthday on April 24th, with his colleagues pulling out all the stops to celebrate this 'kind and caring' man.
He was presented with gifts, chocolates and a card while the checkout are was decked out with balloons and customers singing happy birthday.
Widower Ron works four days a week at the store and started there 18 years ago as a greeter before moving to checkouts and self service.
Prior to this he worked as an estimator at a steelworks. When asked about his job, Ron said: ""I love my job and I've no plans to retire – I'm still going strong and I love coming to work," "My colleagues here are brilliant, fantastic.
