Horrifying moment boy, 10, mauled by devil dog in vicious unprovoked attack

This is the shocking moment a 10-year-old boy was savaged by a vicious dog outside his own home. The lad can be seen on camera playing football on the front drive before the beast launches itself upon the boy and mauls him.A huge emergency response was scrambled to the scene on Bentley Drive in Walsall on Wednesday.

The boy was rushed to hospital to be treated for a number of bite and claw wounds following the two-minute attack.West Midlands Police confirmed that the dog in the footage had been given up by its owner to be "humanely destroyed".

A woman in her sixties was arrested before being released with a caution, reports Birmingham Live.The footage was shared by the boy's dad, Gohar Siddique, in a bid to raise awareness about dangerous dogs.

While the breed of the devil hound is not known, the father urged owners to keep control of their pets if they pose a threat.Gohar, a 36-year-old factory worker, said: "I just want to make sure this doesn't happen to other people.
