Hip-Hop Producer Irv Gotti Sued For Sex Assault By Former Companion

Irv Gotti, who cofounded Murder Inc. Records and has delivered hits for rappers Ja-Rule and Jay-Z, is being sued by an ex-companion for alleged sexual assault and battery.

In a lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade on July 11, a woman identified only as Jane Doe accuses 54-year-old Gotti (born Irving Domingo Lorenzo) of sexually assaulting and abusing her on several occasions from 2020 to 2022 in Saint Martin, Miami, and Atlanta.

The suit seeks a trial by jury. “After flying her to Saint Martin, Gotti coerced Plaintiff into having sex with him,” the court filing states. “Gotti specifically threatened Plaintiff that he would send her home if she did not comply … and due to his power and influences in the music world, she complied.” The lawsuit claims Gotti “demanded” sexual acts from the plaintiff throughout their alleged two-year relationship, saying he “often berated and scolded” her.

He also forced her to perform oral sex in an elevator and an Uber, the suit alleges. “She’s suffered a lot,” Adriana Alcalde, attorney for the plaintiff and a former prosecutor in the Special Victims Unit of the Broward County State Attorney’s Office, told Rolling Stone. “With the #MeToo movement, women feel a little more empowered to speak up and tell their truth.” Gotti denies any wrongdoing. “The allegations represent an affront to women who have truly suffered abuse,” his representative told TMZ. “Mr.
