If it was down to me they’d all be getting cited. And banned for two games like Alex Schalk of Ross County back in 2017. Listen I understand as a forward that if you’re caught at all in the box then you go down.
You’re taught that as a kid. But you HAVE to be caught. The three dives at the weekend were embarrassing.And it shows the inconsistencies again because Vargas got booked while Cantwell and Sokler didn’t.
I always refer to the Schalk one that won County a penalty in the last minute in a draw against Celtic. That was the worst dive I’ve seen in my life and I remember Staggies boss Jim McIntyre coming out and saying afterwards he’d not seen it yet.
