Ratings for HBO’s newest series, The Idol, have been revealed. According to a report from The Wrap, the series, which stars Lily-Rose Depp and Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, brought in just under a million viewers for the premiere episode.

The outlet adds that the ratings come from HBO, as well as Max telecasts, which brings it “on par” with the premiere audiences for Euphoria and The White Lotus.

The numbers come straight from Nielsen and first party data. The Idol‘s premiere numbers put it just above the premiere of Winning Time, which debuted in 2022.

The series centers on pop star Jocelyn, who attempts to cement her status as the nation’s top star after a nervous breakdown derailed her last tour. Troye Sivan, Jennie Ruby Jane, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Dan Levy, Rachel Sennott and more also star.
