Prince Harry and Meghan's are reportedly making the move into movie producing and it's already been branded "insulting" amid their presumption they can just start doing the job without any qualifications. The Sussexes have managed to bag the rights to a hit romantic novel which strangely has links to their real life. It's reported that the pair are trying their best to get back into the Hollywood limelight following the end of their Spotify deal and they have bought the film rights to book Meet Me At The Lake. And according to reports, they have forked out £3m to do so, as a final attempt to stay relevant in the US.Trying their hand and something a bit different, the Duke and Duchess are branching out into the world of film producing for the first time, however, not everyone is convinced and one royal expert has described this move as "curious." Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said their new venture was "rather insulting" to those who are trained in the field.

She told OK!: "I can understand that Harry and Meghan have to come up with content to fulfil their Netflix contract, and I think everyone will be pleased that they are moving away from bashing the Royal family. "But this does seem rather a curious choice of book, with some obvious parallels with their own lives.

Somehow, it seems they just can’t get away from looking inwards, and inviting comparisons with what they have gone through."I also wonder what qualifications they think they have to become film producers.

It’s rather insulting to presume they have the skills that have taken others years to acquire. But I wish them luck, and perhaps it will be a brilliant film.
