The royal family fears that Harry and Meghan may return to their "mud-slinging" ways if their media careers fail and name the member of 'the Firm' who allegedly made racist remarks, according to an insider.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in the process of developing their latest project with Netflix as they produce their first film together, which is based on a best selling romance novel that their firm Archewell Productions now has the rights to.The production of Carley Fortunes' Meet Me at the Lake novel is the couple's chance to reignite their media careers following a rocky year as insiders claim the royals are hoping their latest project is successful so they stop bringing up the past for fame.A source told the Daily Telegraph that the royals are afraid that without a new venture to distract them, their thoughts may trace back to their relatives across the Atlantic again.The fears have centred on rumours of Meghan Markle following in the footsteps of her husband Prince Harry (who released tell-all memoir Spare earlier this year) with her own bombshell memoir, the Express reports.However, for now their latest project is creating a film adaptation of Meet Me at the Lake which was published earlier this year and seems to share several obvious similarities with the couple's own lives.Netflix acquired the rights held by their production firm for £3million as part of their £80million deal, and the royal family are said to be keen for the next instalment in the Sussexes' streaming saga to work out.A Palace insider told the Telegraph that "if the film flops" the couple will "no doubt revert to mud-slinging".They especially fear the possibility of the duchess going ahead with her own autobiography where she could reveal
