King Charles appoints top honour to Meghan and Harry's biggest 'hate figure' in palace

King Charles' recent decision to appoint one of his senior aides to Permanent Lord in Waiting is likely to displease Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as he has given the honourable role to one of their "biggest hate figures" in the palace.Sir Edward Young, who is thought to be the man known as "The Bee" in Harry's bombshell memoir Spare that was released earlier this year, has been bestowed with the honour of representing the King at royal events when he is not able to attend in person.

A source told Richard Eden from the Daily Mail: "His Majesty has great respect for Lord Young and is grateful for all the work he did for his mother, often under great pressure.

This new honour is a reflection of that."Sir Edward was one of the late Queen's most trusted attendants and was made a lord after he retired from royal service following a 19 year career, the Express reports.Many believe that Harry and Meghan blamed him for failing to appropriately accommodate them when they were still working members of 'the Firm'.In Spare, the duke alleged that Sir Edward tried to prevent him with meeting with his grandmother, the late Queen, as he and Meghan tried to negotiate the terms of them stepping down from their royal duties.He then blamed him for working against Harry and his family to ensure they lost their security deal with Scotland Yard following their move to the States.Sir Edward was nicknamed "The Bee" in the memoir due to his "oval-faced and fuzzy" appearance and tendency to "glide around with great equanimity and poise".Harry wrote: "I'd spent my life dealing with courtiers, scores of them.
