Hamilton Accies Women boss Robert Watson felt lady luck was not on their side as a last-gasp defeat at Dundee United saw them fall back into relegation danger in SWPL1.Accies had the chance to move six points clear of their rivals at the bottom of the table, but suffered a 2-1 defeat at Tannadice on Saturday.Mason Blyth-Clark looked to have earned a point when she netted six minutes from time to cancel out Robyn Smith’s stunning opener for the Terrors in the first-half.However, Georgie Robb rifled home a winner in the third minute of stoppage time to take rock-bottom United level on points with Accies, who sit in the relegation play-off spot by virtue of being one goal better off.The game was moved to Saturday with Dundee’s men’s team hosting Celtic on the Sunday, literally across the road in the first of the Premiership post-split fixtures and while that didn’t help Hamilton’s preparations, Watson said his side still should have taken something from the game.He said: “We had a few injuries and some key players out.

We didn’t know the venue and kick-off time until the Tuesday before which was frustrating, but it is what it is.“We are not going to put that down as the reason we didn’t pick up any points.

Ultimately, we are frustrated not to come away with a point because I felt we did more than enough for that, or even to win the game.“But, in key moments, it didn’t work out for us, which has kind of been our story this season.

Both of Dundee United’s goals have been hits into the top corner so we’ve not had a lot of luck in that respect. Outwith that, they didn’t create a lot and then their goal comes so late.
