Gwyneth Paltrow is explaining the meaning behind her popular vagina-scented candle. During a recent Q&A on her Instagram Story, the 50-year-old Goop founder explained what led her to create the This Smells Like My Vagina candle, which went viral online and quickly sold out on the Goop website. The Oscar-winning actress added that the candle – which features notes of “cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed” – was not intended to “actually smell like anyone’s vagina” and “that was the point.” “… People tried to make it about something else, which is kind of a shame because it was really meant to be this strong feminist statement,” she continued. “But we no longer make the candle.” During that same Instagram Q&A, Gwyneth revealed why she hasn’t been in any more Marvel movies.
