Guns N Roses star devastated as he reveals stepdaughter, 25, has died
ok.co.ukGuns N Roses legendary guitarist Slash has taken to social media to express his heartbreak following the death of his step-daughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight.
Lucy-Bleu passed away at just 25 years old, with Slash sharing the statement: "Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024. "Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul.The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss." Slash has been in a relationship with Lucy-Blue's mum, Meegan Hodges, since 2015.
However, they previously dated in the late 80s during Guns N Roses' heyday. A number of celebrities and friends took to the comment section of Slash and Meegan's respective posts, both of which featured the same statement, to share their condolences.
Red Hot Chili Peppers musician Flea wrote: "oh man, god bless." While model Susan Holmes - who is married to Guns N Roses bassist Michael Andrew McKagan - penned: "Words cannot express our deepest sympathy and condolences.
