The nights are getting colder and darker as winter fast approaches, and there's nothing more comforting than a hearty bowl of pasta to keep yourself warm.Carbonara is a classic favourite for many people, and it's very quick and easy to make according to TV chef Gordon Ramsay.The chef shared his own twist on the classic Italian recipe that can be made in under 10 minutes, making it ideal for a speedy yet tasty midweek dinner.
It does require more ingredients than the traditional, but the additional flavours won't go amiss. This British version of carbonara contains a few more ingredients than the Italian way of making it, and the TV cooking legend has explained the main difference - even joking he preferred his version of the dish, the Express reports.
In a video online, Gordon Ramsay said: “I know there’s a few of you freaking out that we shouldn’t be putting garlic, mushrooms, inside the carbonara but let me tell you something really important.
