A mum has said she 'doesn't want her daughter to be the next Sophie Lancaster' after she was subjected to a vile attack on her way home from school.

Amelia-Paige was repeatedly beaten by another girl on the bus home, LancsLive reports. As the 12-year-old was hit, a group of school children held their phones aloft and filmed the horrific incident.

They shouted 'one more, one more, one more' as they continued to film. Police are investigating the incident, which happened on the bus home from the Valley Leadership Academy in Bacup in Lancashire.
