Chaotic scenes were reported at Hampden Park this evening as Gerry Cinnamon revellers queued for hours as their "valid tickets" were refused.

Fans took to social media to describe difficulties as they tried to gain access to the much anticipated postponed gig. The Castlemilk-born star took to the stage at around 9.50pm on Saturday night in front of a sold out crowd - and he'll be back tomorrow evening for round two after another date was added.

Gates opened at 4pm this afternoon with The Snuts, Jake Bugg and The Charlatans supporting the main act. But it's understood many have spent hours trying to get in after issues were reported with tickets.Hayley, who preferred to be known by her first name only, told the Record her son had initially been refused entry and had to queue for over an hour after tickets purchased over three years ago for the concert would not scan at the door.She said: "We had our tickets sent out in the post from Music Glue, there wasn’t an option for an e-ticket."My son called saying the barcode was invalid and wasn’t scanning.
