A sign was put up on Friday, July 22, at around 1am giving an update on the status of the emergency department. It read: "There is currently a 40+ hour [wait] for a medical bed.
There are six beds only left throughout the entire hospital. "We have no beds/cubicles in A&E due to no movement. If you are waiting for a ward, you will be in our waiting room for numerous hours.
If you require food, drink, medication or wish to leave, please go through to speak to medical staff."
