You can’t believe everything you see on the internet, particularly when it has to do with ex-congressman George Santos who was kicked out of the House of Representatives this week.
No, he didn’t work at Goldman Sachs before going into politics. No, his mom didn’t die in 9/11. No, he was not the star of the volleyball team at Baruch College, nor did he even attend Baruch College.
But one rumor is in fact true: Santos is on Cameo. After screenshots of his profile on the video messaging platform began circulating online, Cameo confirmed to “Wired” that the profile was real, and was later linked on Santos’s own X account.
