As the new year gets underway, there are plenty of new shows and films joining Netflix to keep us entertained. 2023 was a huge year for the streaming service, with massive shows including Squid Game: The Challenge, Ginny and Georgia and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story among the most-watched.

There are loads of exciting new releases to look forward to in 2024 - including dramas, documentaries and comedy specials. New thriller Fool Me Once, which stars Michelle Keegan and was filmed in Greater Manchester, releases on New Year's Day.
